RESPECTED South African blues-rock artist Albert Frost, who has recorded with some of South Africa’s biggest stars like Arno Carstens, Chris Chameleon, the Blues Broers and many others, is bringing his talent to Port Elizabeth tomorrow.

Frost was associated with the Blues Broers for 21 years and recorded five albums with them before they parted ways last year.

He has also toured with Simple Minds and REM, and was a supporting act for the Rolling Stones.

Frost alternates between rhythm and lead and plays both the acoustic guitar, as well as the electric one.

In April of this year he released his third solo album, “The Wake Up”.

He is currently involved in two crossover classical productions, namely Blue Moon and Vivaldi’s Four Seasons.

In the near future, music fans can look forward to Frost touring with Loki Rothman, as well as more shows from Blood Brothers, an interesting project bringing together some of the best from the South African rock fraternity such as Frost, Arno Carstens, Francois van Coke, George van der Spuy of Taxi Violence and Kobus de Kock Jnr of Black Cat Bones.

Albert Frost will be performing at The Music Kitchen in Port Elizabeth on July 14.

The performance will begin at 8 pm and tickets are priced at R120.

To purchase your ticket, contact The Music Kitchen at 041 364 1964.
