HUNDREDS of fans converged on the Motherwell NU 11 Stadium when the 2018 Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) Premier League season resumed on Sunday.

It appeared as though the teams were rusty following a very long season break.

Furthermore, the high temperature readings had a negative impact on the impetus of the games.

Real Strikers played to a 1-1 draw against Young Tigers, while Real Aces devastated City Rangers with their 2-0 victory.

In a six-goal thrilling contest, Tomorrow Stars played to a 3-3 draw against the newly promoted side, Amathole FC.

Highland Spurs started the season on a good note after they took another newly promoted side, Happy Stars, to the cleaners after they had thumped the Motherwell NU 29 side 3-0.

MOFA Premier League reigning champions Manchester United, better known as Amarhamba, managed to earn an easy 2-0 triumph over Crystal Palace.

Other MOFA Premier League results:

Manchester FC 0-1 FC Angels

SUBS 3-1 Valencia

Showvillage United Brothers 2-0 Wells United

Shining Stars 2-1 Young Ideas

Royal Bucks 1-0 Young Madrid
