Goals aplenty in legends league action

THE PELFA Old Buck Gin Legends League last week saw a full house of games in both tiers, with some high-scoring matches.

In Tier A Mahle Old Grey A had a good 5-1 win over Kuyga Masters. For Old Grey, Luvuyo Bika scored two goals, while Donovan Humphreys, Romeo Muller and Jogoo Julius netted a goal each.

African Leopards got the better of Priory Shamrocks A, 3-2. For Leopards, Andile McClean and Loyiso Ntombana scored.

Fairview Rovers claimed a walkover against Central Acemates, as Acemates could not produce the players’ registration cards.

In Tier B, NMBM whipped Priory Shamrocks B, 6-0. Shaun Sokiya, Mfundo Gqirhana, Mthunzi Sikweyiya, Ndyebo Madolo and Mthunzi Sokiya scored for NMBM.

Malabar Legends had a good 4-2 win over Mahle Old Grey B. Malabar Legends scorers were Siven Naidoo and Naj Padachie in the first half. Kumarin Naidoo and Padachie netted in the second half.

Scorers for Old Grey were Jason de Reuck in the first half and Jason Aitken just after the half-time break. PE City claimed a walkover against St Albans.

Fixtures for tonight, May 22:

Kuyga Masters vs Priory A at Kuyga Community Field at 19:30

Central Acemates vs Mahle Old Grey A at Oval at 20:30

Leopards vs Callies at Oval at 19:00.

Tier B:

Westpark vs NMBM at Londt Park Sports Club at 19:30

Mahle Old Grey B vs PE City at Old Grey Sports Club

Priory B vs Malabar Legends at NMU at 19:30
