THE Ibhayi Rhythmic’s top juniors performed well at the South Zone competition recently.

The team made the coaches proud by achieving top results and personal bests. This competition took place in Jeffrey’s Bay between gymnasts from Nelson Mandela Bay, Sarah Baartman District and Northern Cape.

Ibhayi’s results were as follows:

Catherine Grebe – Silver medal, first place overall

Emma van der Walt – Silver medal, silver overall

Amoré van Onselen – Bronze medal overall

Lea Nieuwoudt – Bronze medal overall

Mbali Nxgosa – Silver medal

Ivana Leuschner – Silver medal, fifth place overall

Emma Gough – Silver medal, fifth place overall

Liza Mari Venter – Gold medal overall, highest score in her age group and level

Carlie Gerber – Silver medal, sixth place overall

Caedy Lee Mulder – Gold medal, silver overall

Emma Jack – Silver medal, sixth place overall

Minné Müller – Bronze medal.

Mincke Oelofsen – Bronze medal, sixth place overall

De-Ané Strydom – Bronze medal

Estie-Mari Skorbinski – Silver medal, third place overall

Khazimla Witbooi – Bronze medal, fifth place overall

Milke Müller – Silver medal, fourth place overall
