High tea fundraiser a MAD success

2020-01-08 06:00
The Irish dancers from McWilliams Academy of Dance (MAD) hosted their final fundraiser for 2019 at the Kipling’s Brasserie, ending the year on a high and successful note. The special guest artists were the father-daughter duo of André and Caron Strydom, who had people kicking their shoes off and dancing to favourites from the Bee Gees, ABBA and many more. MAD owner and teacher, Jenny McWilliams, said, ‘It was a fitting end to a year that saw our dancers taking home five South African trophies, and nine qualifying to represent South Africa at the 50th World Championships to be held in Dublin in April 2020!’ photo:supplied
