LOYAL football supporters of Golden Stars and Highbury saw their sides falling to heavy defeats at home during Sasol Ladies’ League games on Saturday.

Highbury’s home supporters were disenchanted when their side lost 7-0 to Birmingham City at Bridgemead Sports Field.

Golden Stars lost their home game 3-2 to City Lads at Adcock Stadium in Korsten.

Red Roses accumulated the three maximum league points in their 2-1 triumph over Eastern Rangers at Mt Frere Stadium in KwaBhaca.

Nelson Mandela Bay side Dower United secured a hard-fought 1-0 away win over Bashee Eagles at Dutywa Stadium in Dutywa.

Cumakala Ladies had to dig deep for their 1-0 win against the tough Coastal United at Freemantle High School Grounds in Lady Frere.

Sophakama taught the students of University of Fort Hare a free soccer lesson when they handed them a 4-0 defeat at Zwide Stadium.

Ayakha Stars edged out Amanqilo Birds 2-0 at Cicira TVET College Grounds in Mthatha.

Despite their 1-0 loss, Executive Ladies gave a good account of themselves against Eluhewini Ladies in Hewu.
