FOLLOWING their 2-1 loss to their neighbours, Peace Makers, a week ago, Highbury FC played to a goalless draw in their game against Mthatha Bucks at Rotary Stadium in Mthatha on Saturday.

Bucks who lost 1-0 in their previous home game against Amavarara looked to secure a win, but the Nelson Mandela Bay side were unshaken and were more than prepared for the game.

Playing in front of Bucks’ many singing home supporters, Highbury FC stayed focused throughout the entire regulation time.

The draw for the Nelson Mandela Bay side was seen as a good result, as it is not easy to beat Bucks on their home ground.

Swartkopsvalley United Brothers (SUBS) devastated the East London side, Birmingham City, 2-0 during their game which was held at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Friday.

Sibanye FC, who have been having a torrid time this season, went down 6-2 at the hands of Bizana Pondo Chiefs, during their home game at Gelvandale Stadium, which also took place on Friday.

Peace Makers also disappointed their home supporters with their 2-0 loss to Bush Bucks at the Isaac Wolfson Stadium in Kwazakhele on Saturday.

PE Stars made their supporters very proud after they secured a convincing 3-1 victory over Bush Pirates at the Saints Ground.

Spears of the Nation thwarted Bisho Stars 3-0 at Kwabulala Sports Field in Mbhizana.

In the final game, Amavarara shared a goalless home draw with Matta Milan at Dumpy Adams Stadium in Komani.
