  • The 1820 Settlers’ Association are currently selling their 2018 calendars for R75 each. They contain pictures about the rich history of Port Elizabeth. Contact 041 581 4031.

  • The Dinos Alive exhibition is currently in Port Elizabeth for the first time to showcase a range of animatronic dinosaurs at Baywest Mall, making for a fun and educational outing for the whole family. The exhibit is open daily from 9am to 5pm, but will be closed on December 25. Entry is R75 per person. For more info go to www.dinosalive.co.za.

  • The Art of Learning will once again host an arts and games holiday programme for all ages on weekdays from 8:30am to 4:30pm and Saturdays from 8:30am to 12:30pm at 18 Frank Street in Newton Park. They offer a wide variety of art projects and games. They are closed on Sundays and public holidays. The cost is R50 per hour per person.All tools and materials are provided.   • Save-A-Pet will be gift-wrapping at Walker Drive and Sportsmans Warehouse to raise funds. They are looking for volunteers to do a two-hour shift at one of the venues. The hours at Walker Drive will be from 10am to 6pm and at Sportsmans Warehouse from 10am to 4pm. All wrapping paper and other necessities will be supplied.
