The Turtles are back!

After defeating Shredder in the first film, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are back to face an even greater enemy - Krang.

In the sequel the Turtles - Leo, Donnie, Raph and Mikey - have to face many challenges, including how to learn to work together as a team again.

Shredder escapes while being transported under the watchful eye of prison guard Casey Jones (Stephen Amell) to another prison. With him in the van are two other criminals, Bebop and Rocksteady - both who idolize Shredder.

The Turtles fail to capture Shredder and instead he is transported to 'Dimension X' where he meets a disgusting alien (a slimy pink brain with tentacles stuck in a robot body)  known as Krang, who orders him to gather pieces of a machine so that he can be transported to Earth in order to rule the world.

Shredder joins forces with scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry), who turns Bebop and Rocksteady into a warthog and rhino respectively, by injecting them with a formula that creates powerful creatures.

Shredder finally collects all the pieces for Krang's Technodrone, but Krang freezes Shredder and holds him within his ship before making his way to Earth.

In the film the Turtles come out of the shadows, with the help of their friend April O'Neill (Megan Fox), to help the New York Police Department defeat Krang,  but only the police know of their existence. After the Turtles defeat the villain by working together as a team, the NYPD honours them at a private ceremony for saving the city. They decline an offer to come out of the sewers and decide to stay underground, while protecting the city.
