COMPARING prices of products in 2018 with those 35 years ago, as well as the way businesses advertised, is fascinating when one pages through old copies of the Port Elizabeth Express over the past 35 years.
Two of the most noticeable things were how inflation affected the price of a whole chicken over the 35 years, as well as the many photos of cars in the 1980s and the way they were almost always photographed with models in bathing costumes.
