IFM Radio gets the people talking

2016-10-05 06:00

IFM Radio is a non-profit organisation (NPO) and has a majority of volunteer presenters keeping the heart beat of Muslim Radio alive.

IFM Radio acquired its first 5-year permanent broadcasting licence in July 2011.

The second 5-year licence was recently approved, which is valid until June 2021.

This is the culmination of an unyielding effort by the Muslim families of Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage and Despatch.

Nafeesa Baboo, station manager at IFM Radio said “Jazak Allah for your continued support and contributions.”

IFM today boasts a functional studio and programmes that keep their diverse listeners inspired spiritually and informed on political and social issues.

Interviews with political figures and political analysts are regularly conducted on the airwaves of IFM.

Add to that contributions of influential personalities, then you know why IFM claims to get the people talking.

Tune to 88.3 FM – the only Muslim Community Radio in the Eastern Cape.
