Join in the foolishness of a winter MTB race

2016-07-27 06:00

CYCLING enthusiasts looking to have some fun on their mountain bikes this winter should not miss the Foolish Frenzy Day/Night MTB Race on August 30.

The race will take place at Norm Hudlin in Kragga Kamma.

Riders can enter solo or in a relay team and are challenged to see who can complete the most laps in 4 hours.

For the balloon lap, each rider gets a balloon to attach to their bikes. Those who complete the lap without the balloon popping, gets a bonus lap added to their total.

This race is a great opportunity to train for the Trans Baviaans and is also spectator friendly, offering a bonfire for non-competitors to relax around.

There will be beverages and food for sale at the venue.

Riders are required to bring their bike likes as the race will take place from 4pm to 8pm – with two hours of daylight and two hours of night.

Registration will commence at 2:30pm and entry costs R140 per rider.

Entry forms are available online.
