THE organisers the Fedhealth XTERRA, will once again rely on the expertise of the Kings Beach Surf Life Saving Club to ensure the water safety of all entrants taking part in the Fedhealth XTERRA Nelson Mandela Bay at Kings Beach from February 10 to 12.According to Tess Kotze, Kings Beach Water Safety Officer, the 2016 event was well received. “The event was well organised and catered for the entire family. Our involvement benefitted our club immensely. We are a voluntary organisation. The funds received have enabled us to add to the much needed equipment for our lifesavers and nippers,” said Kotze. “Our qualified lifesavers will be in the water monitoring the competitors. We will also make use of boats as an additional safety option. I would recommend this event to family members and friends. The beach integrated with the Baakens Valley makes XTERRA Nelson Mandela Bay extra special.”The event info is as follows:. The Fedhealth XTERRA Kids on February 10.
