Lady Slipper’s Market celebrates 11th birthday on Saturday

2018-02-21 06:00

THE Lady Slipper Farmers’ Market will be celebrating its 11th birthday on Saturday.

The fun-filled event promises a special entertainment by Kobus and Carla Gouws and Popsi the Clown.

A jumping castle will also be available for the young ones.

Situated at the corner of the Old Cape Road and Rocklands Road, the market started with a bang this year offering a few new stalls and many new visitors.

The new stalls range from fresh produce an lovely freshly baked eats to plants and drinks. In addition to the ever popular “white elephant” stalls, a very nice “farm style breakfast” is also on offer.

Patrons can relax on the benches provided under the trees, while enjoying the fresh air and country atmosphere.

The market is open every Saturday from 8am to 12pm and new stallholders are welcome.
