THE winner of this year’s PE Express’s Christmas baby competition, is little eight-month-old Thorbryn May. Born on April 4, Thorbryn, from Algoa Park, will be spending her first Christmas with her parents and three older siblings next week. Her parents, Roxzanne and Byron May, decided to enter their daughter after seeing the competition in the PE Express.Roxzanne said, “When I opened the newspaper I thought to myself, I must enter her because she’s such an adorable little girl who’s always happy. Many people, including family members, randomly told me to enter her.” Thorbryn’s name is a combination of her sister, Thora, and father, Byron’s names. According to her family, this cheerful baby loves the camera and knows to smile when the flash goes off. She is also a real daddy’s girl. “Daddy is the main man. When she sees him, her face just lights up.” For little Thorbryn’s first Christmas her family will be spending the day in their new house.“We have recently moved into our new house and for the first time in many years, we will enjoy a Christmas lunch together. “We have also decided to spoil Thorbryn with a beautiful coloured mat and some teddies as a gift. “This will be her own little space as she enjoys playing on the floor,” Roxzanne said.
