ROB Thompson and his band, along with East Coast Kustoms, will proudly present the Jimi Hendrix and Friends Tribute Show, at Eddie Macs at Victoria Park on Friday, November 2.

The showcase will celebrate some of the most influential musicians of the 20th century, including Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, BB King, Stevie Ray Vaughan, ZZ Top, Bob Dylan, George Harrison and Joe Cocker. The night will also serve as a celebration of Hendrix’s life, with the show being held in the month of his birthday.

The band, with Thompson on lead guitar and vocals, Barry Kilian on bass guitar, Kristo Zondagh on drums and Boet Strydom on the Hammond organ, will be joined by special guest Francois Hugo on vocals.

The show will start at 20:00. Tickets at R80 are available from Eddie Falconer at 083 225 1093 or at the door before the show.– REPORTER
