Men separated from boys in EP Grand Challenge Rugby

2018-05-30 06:00

FANS saw the men being separated from the boys during the Eastern Province (EP) Grand Challenge Rugby League games on Saturday.

Gardens excitedly claimed a 19-8 win from Missionvale RFC in front of their home supporters at Missionvale.

Despatch RFC showed no mercy when they handed Windvogel RFC a 36-3 defeat in Despatch, while Wallabies RFC drew 17-17 with Brumbies RFC.

Suburban RFC home supporters saw their side lose 19-14 to Trying Stars RFC in their tough battle.

Playing in front of their home supporters at Jabavu Rugby Stadium, Star of Hope RFC dug deep to secure their narrow 25-19 victory over the gutsy Progress RFC.

The visiting side, Bourn Fighters RFC, aced a tough assignment when they earned a hard-fought 18-17 victory over SAPS RFC.

Park RFC were on top of their game when they cruised to a comfortable 41-21 triumph over Jeffreys Bay RFC.

To the dismay of Spring Rose RFC’s supporters, their side crashed to a 5-55 defeat when they hosted Kruisfontein RFC at New Brighton Oval Stadium.

Following their excellent performance, Barbarians RFC went down 39-27 to Harlequins RFC in their away clash that was played at a full Adcock Stadium in Korsten.
