FRAMEWORK host a Public Relations Student Conference at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) Conference Centre, North Campus this Friday 9 September.

Brought in conjunction with the Department of Public Relations Communications Studies, the conference by Framework, a fictitious made company of Public Relations Management First Year students is aimed at showing Information Technology (IT) advancement, said Framework Media Manager Khanyisile Ndabambi, adding that this prestigious 7th Annual Conference will be brought under the theme: Digital Revolution.

Framework invited mainly students whom they know own cellphones and would easily understand the digital revolution that they were about.

“We are living in the fast-paced times where everything is done in the digital space. Imagine when Public Relations deals would be completed digitally,” said Ndabambi who is otherwise known as Khanyi, adding that to them, that possibility was not far away from happening as almost everyone nowadays does have a cellphone, no matter where they were in social strata.

Ndabambi said they have invited a giant PR Practitioner and owner of African Star Communications in Farah Fortune who will be coming to share experiences in the field.

“We do not want to let the cat out of the bag. But, we can mention that Farah (Fortune) is coming to share her experiences with us,” said Ndabambi.

Publicist Extra Ordinaire and Brand Manager, Fortune who has worked with successful Hip Hop artists likes AKA and Casper Nyovest as well as comedian Loyiso Gola will be here to encourage the students by giving them tips on what helped her succeed in the industry.

“To come to the conference on Friday, all people must do is to, Follow us on Facebook, like our Page, Click on it and Register,” said Ndabambi.
