Nominations open for Gospel Awards

THE Gabriel Global Gospel (GGG) Awards 2019 are excited to announce that nominations are officially open and will close on March 1 at midnight.

The GGG Awards solicit nominations from the Nelson Mandela Bay community to recognise, appreciate and honour sons and daughters in their ministries for their commitment and dedication in spreading the message of Jesus Christ.

CEO of GGG, Jason Gabriel, said, “Last year, the red carpet was rolled out to honour 79 finalists across 14 categories for their incredible efforts.

“The awards featured star-studded performances and appearances to a dynamic audience of just over 1 000 people.”

The public is encouraged to spotlight and nominate their gospel favourites in any of the following categories:

. Female vocalist;

. Male vocalist;

. Choir of the year;

. Best spiritual dance;

. Inspirational performance (spoken word/motivation);

. Traditional performance;

. Youth outreach;

. Community outreach;

. Gospel radio presenter;

. Hip-hop dance;

. Instrumental player;

. Gospel album of the year;

. Gospel songwriter;

. Gospel rap artists.

To nominate a favourite, the public should select a category number followed by the name of the nominee and their contact number and forward to WhatsApp or SMS line at 076 988 2872.

The top five who receive the most nominations in each category will progress to the finals.

The following incentive will be rewarded to the person/group for most votes received:

.R 5000 cash (first place);

.R 3000 cash (second place);

.R 2000 cash (third place).
