EXTREME Models and Promotions will be hosting a modelling competition on Friday, September 27, at the Feather Market Convention Centre and are calling on the public to enter in the various age categories.

Extreme Models are on the hunt for a representative for their annual runway competition which aims at putting Port Elizabeth on the map, while also seeking to develop youth who display a keen interest in modelling.

Entrants are not required to have any prior modelling experience, but must display unique creativity with attitude and confidence on the runway.

The overall winner will receive a R2 000 cash prize and a fashion photoshoot, while winners in age categories also stand to receive fantastic prizes.

“The outfit that you put together, whether self made, an outfit from your cupboard, or representing a designer, is your choice. Participants will be judged on their creative outfit and walking and advertising themselves on a 15 metre runway,” said Verushka Barnard, owner of Extreme Models and Promotions and organiser of the event.

“Girls, boys, ladies and men are welcome to enter with age categories to be divided accordingly.”

Front row seating tickets cost R100, while regular seating tickets are priced at R50 each.

Members of the public in attendance are requested to adhere to cocktail attire.

To obtain entry forms or purchase tickets and for more information on the competition, contact Verushka Barnard at 082 537 3294 or send an e-mail to
