PE Flying Squad wins Tracker award

The Port Elizabeth Flying Squad was recently named the unit winner for the Tracker SAPS annual provincial awards for the Eastern Cape. The awards honour the courage and dedication of law enforcement officers and units who make a significant impact in locating and recovering stolen and hijacked vehicles. The squad, under the leadership of Lieutenant Colonel Rinah Hina, has been nominated for the provincial Tracker award each year for the past 11 years. During the past year, the squad have recovered 53 stolen or hijacked vehicles, using Tracker’s vehicles tracking technology.
