PE Stars and Highbury FC played to 2-2 draw during their ABC Motsepe League clash at Second Avenue Campus in Summerstrand on Saturday.

After a long period of domination, Highbury FC managed to break down the defence of Stars, with their seasoned striker, Abdul Seidu, scoring Highbury’s opening goal.

In the second half, Lingelethu Gcwabe registered Highbury FC’s second goal to put his side 2-0 ahead.

Stars’ Vernan Virno Campher, scored an all-important goal to reduce their deficit to 2-1.

Ruwan Roro Xundu came up with the equalising goal that sent Stars supporters into raptures.

In another game Future Tigers caused a major upset after they defeated the log leaders, Bizana Pondo Chiefs, 3-0 at Rosedale Stadium in Uitenhage.

Tornado FC’s home supporters saw their side sharing a goalless draw with the newly promoted Amavarara FC in East London.

The Guys also took the Nelson Mandela Bay tough side, Sibanye FC, by storm in their 2-1 victory in Bizana.
