Plant a tree in Richmond Park

2016-08-31 06:00

EVERYONE is invited to celebrate spring by planting 20 trees in Richmond Park, Richmond Hill, on Saturday, September 3.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has supplied 20 trees, and will have dug the holes in preparation.

Planting of trees will start at around 10, with Richmond Hill Furry Friends selling wors rolls.

If the weather is fine Richmond Park, on the corner of Glen and Burgess streets, is the perfect venue for a family picnic. There will be a jumping castle for the kids.
