Poor day for home teams in league

SOME loyal supporters were left disappointed after their sides ran through a bad patch during their SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay SAB Regional League games over the weekend.

Sibanye Colts failed to impress their home supporters after they were devastated 3-0 by PE Sundowns 3-0 at their home grounds, Adcock Stadium in Korsten.

Since the start of the season, Major Chiefs had a torrid time as they went down 3-0 to Motherwell School of Excellence FC at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium.

Roaring Tigers rubbed salt into the wounds of Amarhamba United, by thumping them 3-0 at their home grounds, Jabavu Stadium in Kwanobuhle.

Bush Bucks also disappointed their home supporters after they went down 3-1 to Highland Spurs at Chevrolet Stadium in New Brighton. Stinging Bees earned a hard-fought 1-0 home victory over Motherwell Academy at the Chevrolet Stadium.

Young Teenagers, who have not yet registered a win, continued to draw their games.

This time around, they shared a 2-2 draw at their home turf, Mawabo Dyubhele Fields in KwaDwesi.

Camper United defeated Golden Aces 2-1 at the Motherwell NU 9 Stadium.
