MEER as 30 jaar nadat hulle vir die eerste keer saam op die verhoog verskyn het, gaan Sandra Prinsloo en John Kani weer eens saam in die kollig verskyn tydens die Afrikaanse weergawe van die bekende toneelstuk, Driving Miss Daisy.

So Ry Miss Daisy is vertaal na Afrikaans deur Saartjie Botha en vertel die storie van Daisy en Hoke.

Hoke is die chauffeur wat Daisy se seun, Boolie, gehuur het om vir Daisy rond te ry.

Daisy is eers gekant teen die idee van ’n chauffeur, maar gedurende die volgende 25 jaar ontwikkel ’n spesiale verhouding tussen haar en Hoke ten spyte van die kleurgrens en hulle onderskeie sosiale statusse.

Die rol van Daisy word vertolk deur Sandra Prinsloo, terwyl Hoke se rol vertolk word deur John Kani.

Jacques Bessenger sluit by hulle aan as Boolie.

So Ry Miss Daisy is tans te sien tot 9 Desember by die PE Operahuis se hoofteater. Vertonings sal tot Vrydag, 8 Desember, om 7nm plaasvind, en op Saterdag om 2nm en 7nm.
