The next big race date for motorcycle enthusiasts is August 26 and 27, when the SuperGP event comes to town.

It is a national race event and an opportunity for spectators to catch legends such as Lance Isaacs out on the circuit.

Local contender, Dominic Doyle (14), will also take part in the National KTM 390 series.

Doyle came second in the series last year, as a novice.

He has recently been offered the chance of a life time to participate in the final round of the 2016 MotoAmerica Series, in the KTM 390 division, and will be jetting off to the New Jersey Circuit in the USA in September.

Entry to the circuit is free of charge on Friday, August 26, when the riders will be practising for race day, and R80 per person, with children under the age of 12 entering free on Saturday, August 27. There will be catering caravans, as well as a full bar and braai service available for spectators in the clubhouse.
