THE Algoa Bay branch of the Wildlife and Environment Society of South Africa (WESSA) will host the clean-up at King’s Beach, which was postponed on September 16 due to rain, on September 30.
September 16 was International Coastal Clean-up Day.
Volunteers from the Algoa Bay Branch of WESSA and the Tourism Blue Flag Beach stewards will host the clean-up at King’s Beach from 9:30am to 10:30am.
They will meet on the beach next to the King’s Beach Surf Lifesaving Club. Participants are required to bring a hat and sunscreen. Gloves and rubbish bags will be available.
