EIGHT-year-old Robyn Jacobs, who has a dream of making a positive difference in the lives of others, will be hosting a golden oldie night for charity on March 4 with the help of her parents.

The golden oldie event which features DJ Mano Zay will be held at the Malabar Community Centre at 8pm.

Robyn Jacobs, who resides in Gelvandale, has recently been chosen as a national finalist for the Miss & Mr Petite SA 2016 as part of the Miss & Mr Jnr SA 2016 pageant.

The winners of the Miss & Mr Petite SA 2016 pageant will be chosen next month in Pretoria.

Robyn’s father, Kurwynn Jacobs,
said all proceeds will go to the
Dignity Dream Project.

“Part of Robyn’s duties is to raise funds for a charity called Dignity Dream, which provides sanitary gift bags for underprivileged young girls who cannot afford basic toiletries. These gift bags cost R150 each and Robyn is busy raising funds towards this charity,” Kurwynn said.

The golden oldie event will be held at the Malabar Community Centre from 8pm until late and tickets cost R50 which can be purchased at Tops Gelvandale or one can pay at the door.

“Robyn is currently in Grade 3 at Westering Primary School. She was chosen as a first princess at Fountains Mall Miss Spring in 2014 and was one of the miniature brides at last year’s the Herald Bridal Fair,” Kurwynn added.
