ROVER Motorcycle Club will be hosting the third round of the Liquorland National Enduro Championship at their clubhouse in Victoria Drive on July 8.

The annual event, popularly known as The Winterberg, will see the race and more than 150 competitors go back to the notorious sand at Rover for the first time since 1994.

One of the competitors, Wade Young, is currently ranked one of the world’s best hard Enduro Riders, while Blake Gutzeit just won the World Junior Enduro Cross title.

Both these riders will be going head to head with local stars such as Timmy Young who, with his home town advantage, will be pushing hard for the win.

In addition to the racing excitement, there will be food for sale, a beer tent and live entertainment for the whole family.

Racing will start at 8:30am and entry is R20 per car at the gate.
