The Swartkops Community Policing Forum, in collaboration with the Swartkops SAPS and iPatrol, the Blue Water Bay neighbourhood watch, recently held a safer festive season operation. It involved a vehicle check point, stopping and searching vehicles and concentrating on the prevention of robberies and hijackings. They also launched educational campaigns in the community, dealing with community awareness around criminal activities.
