2017-07-05 06:01

FOR the third week in a row Shamrocks toppled the log leaders in the Port Elizabeth Legends Football Association (PELFA) Old Buck Legends League.

This time Shamrocks beat Hearts 2-1. Nolan Padayachee scored Shamrocks’ first goal midway through the first half.

Kumarin “Bubble” Naidoo put Shamrocks up 2-1 15 minutes into the second half.

Hearts were awarded a free kick about 30 metres out and Travis La Mude had no problem scoring from the dead ball situation.

In another game, Kuyga Masters had no problem lowering PE City’s colours 4-0. For Kuyga Thanduxolo Sinqe scored two goals in the first half and Andile McClean and Patric Sinqe added Kuyga’s third and fourth goals in the second half.

Callies seem to have recovered their winning ways when they outclassed African Leopards 6-0.

Priory was on the receiving end of a 5-1 whipping from the unpredictable NMBM. Priory’s goal was scored by Lloyd Croft midway through the second half.

Mahle Old Grey spoiled Westparks’ three-week unbeaten run by winning their match 3-1 on Westpark’s home turf.

Maraks opened the scoreboard for Mahle Old Grey midway through the first half.

Two minutes into the second half Jason Aitken added Old Grey’s second goal.
