A YOUTHFUL Shining Stars side gave Milan Stars a run for their money, despite their 1-0 loss during their Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) First Division match, which took place at the Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Saturday.

The Motherwell NU 13 side looked as though they did not respect their opponents.

Milan Stars also fielded youngsters who played attractive football.

Shining Stars had some good buildups from the midfield, but Milan’s midfielders also made things happen. Both sides had an avalanche of goal scoring opportunities, but the goalkeepers pulled off some top-notch saves.

The goal finally came thanks to Milan Stars’ midfielder, Siphumelele Mgwetyana.

In another exciting game, Motherwell United claimed a 2-1 win over Seven Sundowns at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Saturday.

Liverpool FC played their hearts out in their goalless drawn game against brave United FC at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Saturday too.

Title contenders, Lion City, gave a good account of themselves, going down 1-0 to the experienced side, City Rangers, in their exciting clash, which took place at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Sunday. Asemahle Zitshu headed home Rangers’ winning goal.

Scorpion FC were on top of their game when they secured a comfortable 3-1 triumph over NU 7 Citizens at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Sunday.
