LOYAL supporters were well entertained by their favourite ABC Motsepe League teams during matches which were contested at different venues around the Eastern Cape on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

Highbury snatched a hard-fought 1-1 draw from Birmingham City at the NMU South Campus Fields on Friday evening.

Sibanye spoiled the party of the log leaders, Bizana Pondo Chiefs, and devastated them with a shock 3-0 victory at Adcock Stadium in Korsten on Friday evening.

Despite their home 1-0 loss at the Mpeshwa Sports Field in Bizana, The Guys gave Tornado FC a run for their money.

Amavarara FC thumped SUBS 3-0 at the Dumpy Adams Stadium in Komani on Saturday.

Yakha United earned a comfortable 3-1 victory over Peace Makers at Mount Ayliff Stadium in Mount Ayliff.

Mthatha Bucks defeated Butterworth 1-0 at Mthatha Stadium in Mthatha.

Matta Milan played to a goalless draw against Future Tigers at Msobomvu Grounds in Dutywa.

PE Stars could not play their game against Bush Bucks since their captain, Thulani Table Motloung, was laid to rest in Motherwell on Saturday.
