Coming into the match in high spirits after overcoming Real Strikers 3-0 on Saturday, The Stallions, as Showvillage United are known, knew that the draw was good enough for them to take the honours on Sunday.

However, Stars, which boasts a number of talented youngsters, were under pressure to win their two remaining games in order for them to win the title.

Stars’ hopes were kept alive after they defeated Royal Bucks 2-0 on Saturday.
