Sibanye FC are leading the ABC pack

NELSON Mandela Bay semi-professional side, Sibanye FC, are on top of the ABC Motsepe League log.

The Korsten side earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory on Saturday, when they took on Butterworth FC at the Walter Sisulu Ibika Campus Fields in Butterworth.

Sibanye have 31 league points, having played 15 games. Their neighbours, PE Stars, are hot on their heels as they have accumulated 29 league points from their 15 games.

Stars faced a tough Amavarara FC and overcame them 3-2 at Dumpy Adams in Komani.

Another Bay side, Peace Makers, devastated Bizana Pondo Chiefs after they edged them out 1-0 at Wolfson Stadium in Kwazakhele.

Makers and Amavarara FC have 27 league points each after 15 games, with the latter having a better goal difference. Therefore, Amavarara FC and Makers are the fifth and sixth position respectively.

The third-placed side on the log, Tornado FC, had to dig deep to beat SUBS FC 2-1 at North End Stadium in East London.

Following their recent loss, Yakha United had the better of Matta Milan, thrashing them 4-0 at Mt Ayliff Stadium in Mt Ayliff.

Nelson Mandela Bay side, Future Tigers, played to a hard-fought 3-3 away draw against Bush Bucks at North End Stadium in East London. The Mthatha Bucks home supporters saw their team disappointing them in their 3-1 loss to Birmingham City at Mthatha Stadium in Mthatha.
