SIMON Bruinders, ’n welbekende akteur met meer as 30 jaar se ondervinding in die vermaakbedryf, sal binnekort sy een-man vertoning na Port Elizabeth bring.

Die opvoering vertel die storie van ’n ongeletterde Abraham wat tot die besef van die belangrikheid van boekgeleerdheid kom. Abraham droom van ’n familie met Stella, die jong onderwyseres; om een dag kinders op sy eie grond groot te maak.

Dit volg die verhaal van Abraham en Stella en die gesin wat hulle onder moeilike omstandighede opbou.

Bruinders, wenner van die SAFTA-toekenning vir lewenslange bydrae, sal dié verhaal vertel in ’n opvoering op 25 Mei om 14:00 in die St Thomas-ouditorium.
