Soccer tournament planned for Youth Day

2016-06-08 06:00

SASCOL (South African Sports Coalition) will be hosting a 7-a-side soccer tournament in celebration of Youth Day.

The divisions participating are U13 to U19 and ladies’ teams are also invited to take part.

“We will have a combination of school teams and church teams that will participate in the tournament. There will be teams from the Northern suburbs, Motherwell area, Jeffrey’s Bay and even as far as Transkei that will participate,” said pastor Tyrone Strydom, one of the organisers of the event.

The tournament will take place at St Thomas High School’s sport fields on June 16 from 9am. Registration takes place from 8am.

For more info or to register teams call Pastor Hilton Prinsloo on 079 538 7915.
