FORMER Springbok flyhalf Derick Hougaard will be the guest speaker at a Sports Breakfast in aid of MTR Smit Children’s Haven on December 9.

During this event an item of Hougaard will also be auctioned out.

Funds raised for this event will be utilised for the empowerment and upliftment of sport as a means to eradicate crime as a result of boredom and neglect.

The MTR Smit Children’s Haven is registered to accommodate 100 children from all races between the ages of 3-18 years. The children were removed from parental care because their wellbeing was at risk.

The breakfast will take place at a venue to be announced, from 7am-9am. The cost is R2 500 per table of ten (tax deductible). For more info contact Amoré de Lange at 041 367 1103 or 079 1775 471.
