THE St Theresa’s Outreach, a registered non-profit organisation (NPO) based in Port Elizabeth, is seeking the community’s help to make their building project in Colchester a success.

St Theresa’s Outreach aims to act as a catalyst for the township community to bring the needs of the children and elderly to the attention of the appropriate departments to get them the help they need.

“We would like to be the difference these people need,” said Charmane Waldner, the founder of St Theresa’s Outreach.

The group is establishing a building which will serve as a Sunday school for the local children, as well as a feeding centre for the community.

“We are in need of non-perishable foods, building materials and volunteers. Those who are willing to assist but unable to contribute any of the above-mentioned things can support one of our fundraising events,” said Waldner.

The next event is an Easter Fair With Flair that will take place on April 8 at the Walmer Town Hall from 9am to 3pm.

The event will include an egg hunt. There are still stalls available and entry to the fair is free.
