Stroke Awareness Week to be held

THE Hope Stroke Group, with the Stroke Survivors Foundation, will host Stroke Awareness Week from Friday until November 3, while World Stroke Day is on Sunday.

The Hope Stroke Survivors Group receives no government funds, as it is an NPO belonging to the Stroke Survivors Foundation and founder George Scola. This event provides support to stroke survivors, family, friends and caregivers and will be held on the following dates:

Friday from 9am-1pm at Netcare Greenacres Hospital Lobby

Saturday from 9am-1pm at Life Mercantile Hospital Lobby

October 30 from 9am-1pm or November 3 at Netcare Cuyler Clinic, Uitenhage Lobby

November 1 from 9am-1pm at Life St George’s Hospital Lobby
