SWARTKOPS Valley United Brothers (SUBS) did not have to sweat for their three ABC Motsepe League points on Friday when their opponents, Mthatha City FC, failed to pitch up for the game that was scheduled to take place at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium.

The points that SUBS received will keep them out of the relegation zone. Since the arrival of head coach Jani Simulambo, SUBS have improved their performance.

In another game, PE Stars earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory from struggling Lion City at Gelvandale Stadium on Saturday.

Highbury FC gave a good account of themselves when they played to an away 2-2 draw against City Lads in Mount Ayliff on Saturday as well.

Sibanye FC were dealt a serious blow when the gutsy log leaders, Tornado FC, handed them a huge 3-0 defeat in East London.
