Super Steel beat Willard Batteries

2019-07-17 06:01

LOYAL supporters of Willard Batteries saw their side overcome 3-2 in a close encounter against Super Steel (Uitenhage) at Westview Ground 2 on Sunday.

It was a disappointing result for Willard who have set their sights on winning the Nelson Mandela Bay Industrial Football League this season, particularly with their closest rivals winning.

The log leaders, Shatterprufe (Struandale), kept their hopes of winning the league alive after they registered an emphatic 8-1 win over Kanu.

Auto Cast were ruthless when they drubbed Eberspacher 5-1 at Westview Ground 1.

Meanwhile Mpact played to a 1-1 draw against Tenneco (Struandale) at Westview Ground 1.

Contitech were awarded three league points after Eveready failed to pitch up for the game.

Other NMB Industrial Soccer League results:

Faurecia (Uitenhage) 2-5 Faurecia (Port Elizabeth)

Continental (2) w/o (0) Ford

Tenneco (Deal Party) 10-3 Lemaitre

Aspen 2-0 Shatterprufe
