Sweet reward for staff who donate toys

2019-06-19 06:00
South Africa is home to 3.7 million orphaned children, many of who don’t have any toys or books. Cadbury Dairy Milk started an initiative called ‘The Little Generosity Shop’ because they believe ‘there’s a glass and a half in everyone’. This initiative will see the public donate toys, books and games and in return they will receive a Cadbury Dairy Milk slab for their generosity. These items will then be donated to various orphanages across South Africa. The Little Generosity Shop made its way to the offices of the ‘PE Express’ and ‘Die Burger Oos-Kaap’ this past Friday, where staff swopped their toys and books for chocolates. Pictured here are Brighton Mafu from The Little Generosity Shop with Nicolette Thomas and Zeldré Strauss Swanepoel, both from ‘PE Express’. Photo:TANYA VAN ZYL
