Teams duke it out in Sasol Ladies’ League games

SAFA Eastern Cape hosted a number of exciting Sasol Ladies’ League games on Saturday.

Some of the teams suffered huge defeats at the weekend.

Amanqilo Birds Ladies managed to overcome Bashee Eagles Ladies 2-0 in their game, which took place at Thombo Grounds in Port St Johns.

Birmingham City Ladies played to a 3-3 draw against University of Fort Hare Ladies at Amalinda Grounds in East London, while Sophakama Ladies accumulated a hard-fought 1-0 away victory when they played against Cumakala Ladies at the Freemantle Boys’ High School Grounds in Lady Frere.

Eastern Rangers Ladies shared a 2-2 draw with Red Roses Ladies at New Rest Stadium in Lusikisiki.

Eluhewini Ladies had to dig deep to defeat Ayakha Stars Ladies 2-1 in their enthralling game that took place at the Roma Rangers Grounds in Eluhewini.

Executive Ladies hammered Manchester Babes 7-0 in their one-sided game that took place at Nozolisa Open Ground in Ntabankulu, while Golden Stars handed Highbury Ladies a 4-1 defeat during their game at the PE College Dower Campus Grounds.
