THE premium Bridal Expo in the Eastern Cape will represent some of the finest businesses in the bridal market – from stationery, venues, décor, designers to the honeymoon destination, when it takes place at the Boardwalk Exhibition Centre on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25.

The I Do! Bridal Expo is an opportunity for Brides-to-be, with their partners, friends and family, to shop around in a relaxed atmosphere, chat one-on-one to exhibitors and collect information before making some very important decisions.

All the exhibitors will be offering expo-only special discounts so brides will be able to take advantage and save a fortune.

I Do! Bridal Expo visitors can look forward to two days of red-carpet treatment with a fragrance sample and goodie bag to welcome them, loads of competitions, beautiful exhibition stands and two different daily bridal fashion shows to inspire them!

Algoa FM popular presenters Daron Mann and Siobhan Momberg will MC the bridal fashion shows with their sharp wit and lots of entertaining crowd interaction and give-aways.

The first bridal fashion show will showcase the city’s established designers at 12:00 while the second show at 14:00 will highlight bridal fashion by our Bay’s young and emerging designers.

In a new collaboration, Nelson Mandela Bay Fashion Week (NMBFW) has hand-picked ten up-and-coming designers to offer the wedding market their fresh take on bridal wear.

The weekend programme will include onstage workshops, live entertainment, a stylish bar lounge area as well as the ever-popular Bridal Café to enjoy sweet and savoury lunch and tea treats.

Brides can now enter the richest wedding competition in South Africa and stand the chance of winning their wedding at Africanos Country Estate to the value of R270 000!

All you have to do to win this dream-come-true prize, is visit the I DO Bridal Expo on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 and 25.

Tickets can be bought pre-event for R50 per day at Westway Café, Newton Park or at the expo entrance. Expo door entrance is R60 for adults and R40 for learners or R100 for a full two-day weekend pass.

Doors open on Saturday and Sunday from 09:00 to 17:00.
