THE Feather Market Organ Society presents its first lunch-hour organ recital in the Feather Market Centre tomorrow at 1pm.

Three Port Elizabeth organists will perform a programme of 50 minutes with attractive easy-to-listen-to music.

Romano Jonathan will play arrangements of Judas Maccabeus and O du fröhliche, and also the well-loved Prière à Notre Dame by Boëllmann.

Albert Troskie’s contribution will be his own composition on How great Thou art, Grainger’s delightful In an English Country Garden and by popular demand, the famous piece by Sullivan, The Lost Chord.

Arnu Oelofse will conclude the programme with a brilliant Toccata by Belier and Bonnet’s Concert Variations.

Admission is R35 and R30 (pensioners). Free entry for learners and students.

For enquiries phone Albert Troskie at 082 726 9595. – REPORTER
