HUNDREDS of children and parents supported their respective sides when they took each other on at Thembalabantu High School Grounds from Saturday to Sunday.

In the U/11 games, Kuyasa United defeated the Shining Stars 3-0 with Zwide Celtics drubbing Everton 11-0. Real Crusaders succumbed 10-0 to Strikers United while Golden Aces lost 2-0 to Major Chiefs.

The Zwide Pirates defeated Manchester City 4-0 and Gal City beat Sophakama FC 3-1. Camper United overcame Shooting Stars 2-0 with Bay Tigers losing 2-0 to Hungry Lions. Despite losing 4-2 to Swartkops United, the Young Brothers put up a good fight.

The Young Killers hammered Mighty Heroes 4-1 and Shining Stars beat Golden Aces 2-0. Strikers United humiliated Everton 15-0 while Zwide Pirates devastated Young Brothers 2-0. Manchester City accumulated three valuable points in their 2-0 win over Bay Tigers.

Sophakama FC punished Mighty Heroes 8-1 in their one-sided game. Major Chiefs registered a comprehensive 3-1 victory to Real Crusaders.

In the U/13 games Zwide Pirates punished Mighty Heroes 5-1 while Strikers took Gal City to the cleaners when they thrashed them 12-1. Major Chiefs gave their neighbours Zwide Celtics a hiding of 3-1. In the battle of the neighbours Swartkops United shared a 2-2 draw with Shining Stars.

The Zwide Pirates were drawn into a 2-2 draw by their neighbours Everton. Despite their 2-1 win, Manchester City were given a run for their money by Bay Tigers. The Chiefs defeated Everton 2-0 and Camper lost 2-1 to Crusaders.

The Tigers played to a 1-1 draw against Killers in their game that stole the show. Kuyasa United whacked Sophakama 5-1. Strikers walloped Camper while Pirates thumped Lions 3-0.
