The National Arts Festival has called for proposals from artists who want to have their work considered for the second Cape Town Fringe.

The local arts festival will be hosted in Cape Town from 24 September to 5 October and artistic director Ismail Mahomed says they are looking for credible and captivating proposals that promise to showcase high quality production values, complimented by innovative and bold experimentation.

Artists have until Friday 8 May to submit proposals that fall into six broad thematic categories identified for the Fringe programme.
