Athlone Primary School recently held its annual “fasting for the love of Allah” programme. The event, hosted by the Islamic Unity Convention, attracted more than 300 people.

Children, some as young as four years old, who had fasted for the first time over the month of Ramadan, were rewarded with a medal, certificate and goodie bag.
