‘Gangster’ shot in front of his home in Manenberg

A case of murder has been opened in connection with alleged gang violence in Manenberg on Wednesday last week.

A 24-year-old man, believed to be a member of the Hard Livings gang, was shot and killed while standing in front of his home in Thames Avenue late on Wednesday eve­ning.

The police confirm that an unidentified man, alleged to be a member of the Americans, fired shots at the victim’s head before fleeing on foot.
